Kids Cook!™ 2012 Class Schedule

Kids Cook!™ classes are held year round. September through May we offer after-school and Saturday classes. Our week-long summer camps are in June and July. We are closed the first two weeks in August and the last two weeks in December.

Our next wine tasting and cooking workshop offered by Uncorked Live!™, our sister venture for adults, will be Friday, February 10, 2012. Kids Cook!™ K – 4^th Grade Closed
January 23 – March 5, 2012 6 class series held each Monday (No class Feb. 20)
3:30 – 5 pm
Open to kids Kindergarten – 4^th grade
$90 plus $35 supplies fee Includes a recipe book, cooking utensil and snack.

New Recipes! New Foods! New Skills! More Fun! Kids Cook!™ classes combine fun, eating and learning. Much more than just stirring, our emphasis is on skills, independence and nutrition. Already tasted our classes? There is much more to learn and do in this life skills class! If you haven’t been to one of our classes, this is a great chance to find out what it is all about. Come hungry! Children take home a recipe book, extra tastes and a cooking utensil. Offered through Pulaski Academy’s Spring 2012 Extras program and held at Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Rd., LR 72212. Open to non-PA students. Maximum enrollment: 12 students

This month we will make both savory and sweet crepes. Menu: Savory Mushroom Chicken Crepes, Sweet Chocolate Raspberry Crepes. Kids take home the recipes, extra tastes and a cooking utensil. Held at Eggshells, 5501 Kavanaugh Blvd., Suite K, LR 72207 Maximum enrollment: 12 students

The theme is Kids Cookin' for a Cause! to benefit Potluck Food Rescue. The kids will bake sweets then hold a bake sale at Eggshells. All proceeds will be donated to Potluck Food Rescue whose mission is serving hungry kids in Arkansas. Our fall Cookin' for a Cause! event was hugely successful, resulting in funding for over 500 meals for kids. Menu: Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Quick Breads/Muffins TBD Participating kids take home the recipes. Held at Eggshells, 5501 Kavanaugh Blvd., LR 72207 Maximum enrollment: 12 students

Cinco de Mayo! Join us for an international adventure exploring Mexican cooking. Our menu will highlight regional Mexican cooking which takes advantage of fresh ingredients. Menu: Roasted Tomatillo Salsa with Freshly Baked Chips, Fish Tacos, Chicken Fajitas. Kids take home the recipes, extra tastes and a cooking utensil. Held at Eggshells, 5501 Kavanaugh Blvd., Suite K, LR 72207 Maximum enrollment: 12 students

Participation is limited and these classes will fill. Register early to avoid disappointment!

Kids Cook!™ Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at the time of sign-up in order to reserve your place. In order to avoid being charged the full price of the class, cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Registrations cancelled 48 hours in advance will be refunded minus a $10 administrative fee. You may transfer your registration to another participant or another class and avoid the fee. In some cases, the sponsoring school's cancellation policy may take precedent. Inquire if you are uncertain.
